[Richard Mille] RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon Extraordinary Motion Skeleton Sleek Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 caliber, combining innovations in materials with horological architecture.The RM12-01 Tourbillon features the RM12-01 Tourbillon in a number of different limited editions available exclusively at boutiques in the Americas. The case construction of the new RM12-01 Tourbillon follows the tripartite principle, combining all the cases. The lines of the movement are inspired by the structural forms of architectural design, and the tubular inclined structure provides optimal rigidity and torsional stiffness, as well as excellent resistance to heat and corrosion. The functions of the baseplate are uniquely combined with those of the movement and the bridges to form a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly displayed through a perfect combination of polishing, satin-finishing, circular graining and high polish. Its one-piece baseplate is inspired by a racing car chassis and enhances rigidity and shock resistance, and characteristically, the sharp, streamlined curves of the skeletonized bridges encircling the barrel, the large wheel and the tourbillon emanate from the end of the manually-wound movement.The case of the RM12-01 Limited Edition measures approximately 51x42x15mm and is available in Black Carbon TPT, Red Quartz TPT, and White Quartz TPT.
